Chapter four of the Project Paper is given different titles 'Analysis of Data'; 'Results of Study'; 'Analysis and Results' and others. The two key words is 'analysis' and 'results' where the researcher analyses the data collected and presents the results in Chapter 4.Sometimes students spend so much time collecting and analysing the data but when it comes to reporting they do not do a good job. Some sell short by under-reporting the data they have collected and analysed.
Alternatively, presentation of the data is not clear to the reader even though they had written good Chapter 1, Chapter 2 and Chapter 3. Many people regard Chapter 4 as the most important chapter because it is the findings of the study and forms the core of the whole Project Paper. This is the Chapter you should be most excited about as all your efforts culminates in the findings you have obtained. Include the following:. An introductory paragraph where you remind the reader on the purpose of the study and the research questions. Description of the sample - you have the choice to describe your sample ( such as age, gender or other relevant information) here that has emerged from your data collection and analysis in this section to provide context for your findings.
